On the night before the first day of classes of their cow year, the entire class of 2027 will report to a specific location to take the Oath of Affirmation. This ceremony affirms their commitment to complete the next two years of study and their active-duty service requirements as a U.S. Army Officer. Once affirmed, they incur an obligation to the nation to complete their service.
