Mr. Hughes came to West Point after serving as the diving coach at his alma Mater, Seton Hall University, from 2011-14. He then served as the Army West Point diving coach from 2014-18 and became an instructor in the Department of Physical Education in the summer of 2018. In addition to teaching Survival Swimming, he has taught Fundamentals of Personal Fitness, Alpine Skiing, Rock Climmbing, Tennis, and Racquetball.
