LTC Drew Curriston was commissioned as an Aviation Officer from the U.S. Military Academy in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He is a Senior Army Aviator and has served in various units, including command of Alpha Company 3-25 AVN, Battalion Executive Officer of 3-1 AHB, and Executive Officer of the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade. He earned a Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Auburn University in 2014 and a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M in 2024.
He has served at West Point from 2014-17 and again from 2024 to present, teaching and directing courses in dynamics, fluid mechanics, engineering design, and aeronautical engineering. His areas of interests include experimental aerodynamics, wind tunnel testing, and uncertainty quantification.
