Mr. Daniel Finch is a senior instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering. Upon graduation from West Point in 1985, he branched Aviation and began a 20-year career as an Army aviator during which he attained the distinction of Master Aviator. His service included assignments from platoon to major command levels including extensive time as an instructor pilot. 

After retiring from the Army in 2005, Mr. Finch continued his service as a Department of the Army civilian developing flight simulation and training technologies. Prior to joining DSE, he served as a lead Program Integrator for the Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team Army Futures Command in Orlando, FL.

Mr. Finch and wife Susie have been married for 40 years. They have two daughters, four grandsons, a Welsh corgi, and three cats.
