Captain Daniel Eichner was commissioned as an Aviation officer from the U.S. Military Academy in 2014 where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation he completed Initial Entry Wing training at Fort Novosel earning qualifications in the TH-67 and H-60M Black Hawk helicopters. Captain Eichner completed operational assignments at Fort Cavazos, Texas and Wiesbaden, Germany where he served in leadership positions including maintenance, distribution, and flight platoon leader and flight and maintenance company commander.
In 2024, he earned a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a concentration in experimental aerodynamics.
